Bayern Munich v Sevilla Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Bayern Munich are clear favourites to make the semi finals of the Champions League when Sevilla visit in the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

The Bavarians were also crowned Budesliga champions for the sixth year in a row at the weekend, meaning this could prove to be a very successful week for Jupp Heynckes' men.

His charges hold a 2-1 lead after last week's first leg in Spain, although Sevilla showed in the previous round at Old Trafford that they are capable of producing a big performance away from home.

Latest odds

Bayern have won 19 of their last 20 home matches in the Champions League and bet365 offer them at 2/9 (1.22)to record another victory.

Sevilla, though, have won just two of their last 14 away games in the competition (not including qualifiers) and Vincenzo Montella's side are priced at 14/1 (15.00), with the draw at 6/1 (7.00).

Team news

Sevilla's Danish centre-back Simon Kjaer picked up an injury in the La Liga defeat to Celta Vigo on Saturday and will be missing. Midfielder Ever Banega was suspended for the first leg but will return here.

Manuel Neuer has returned to training for Bayern after six months out but is not yet ready to feature, while Kingsley Coman remains unavailable.

Erratic Sevilla usually produce goals

Sevilla remain an extremely inconsistent side and since their memorable 2-1 win at Manchester United in the previous round, they have failed to win any of the four matches they have contested.

However, during that winless run, they did dominate Barcelona before conceding twice late on to draw 2-2, showing once more they are more than capable of matching the continent's biggest teams.

The Andalusians can contribute to another goal-filled game at the Allianz, although Bayern's clinical edge is likely to see them through irrespective of what the visitors throw at them.

Tips and predictions

Both teams to score is priced at 4/5 (1.80), but more appealing in backing goals at both ends and over 2.5 goals at 20/21 (1.95) - the winning selection in the first leg.

This bet has also proved the correct selection in five of Bayern's last six Champions League games, and in six of Sevilla's last nine in the competition.
