Mourinho: Man Utd under no pressure

Ibrahimovic recorded a 28-goal haul for United before damaging knee ligaments and it remains to be seen whether he will be back for next season, having only penned a 12-month deal upon his arrival at Old Trafford.

If he does stay on, then it is claimed that he will receive £500,000 should the Red Devils reach the Champions League quarter-finals, £1.25 million for the semi-finals, £2.275 million for the final and £5.25 million should he help to secure European glory.

To put those figures into perspective, the world’s most expensive footballer continues to operate in the shadow of an illustrious colleague when it comes to financial matters.

United spent £89 million to bring Pogba back to the club from Juventus, but the 24-year-old is on a weekly salary of £165,588 – which gives him £8.61m-a-year.

He is, however, due a raise of £1.875 million next season and will pull in around £255,000 from image rights if the Red Devils qualify for the Champions League.

Football Leaks also claim that he will get a £3.46 million loyalty bonus from 2017-18, with there various other incentives worked into his contract.

While Ibrahimovic and Pogba have done well out of the deals which brought them to Old Trafford, their agent is also said to have benefited considerably.
