Club America topped Necaxa 2-0 on Sunday night, taking a 3-1 aggregate victory and setting up a final against Tigres.
With America heading to Japan for the Club World Cup, the final will be delayed from the dates originally planned. The first leg will take place at America's Estadio Azteca on Dec. 22, with Tigres hosting the second leg on Christmas Day (Dec. 25).
Had America not made the final, the first leg would've been contested Dec. 8 with the season ending Dec. 11. But America is set to face Jeonbuk Motors on the 11th, with a potential semifinal against Real Madrid coming four days later. The Club World Cup final and third-place game are Dec. 18.
William da Silva scored his third goal of the postseason to give Las Aguilas the advantage, poking home a pass after excellent movement from Renato Ibarra, and Oribe Peralta added an insurance goal.

Tigres topped Leon 3-1 on aggregate in the other semifinal and hosts the second leg as the team that finished the regular season with a higher number of points.
