    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Reyna has seen limited game time at Forest, taking in just two starts, and most of his minutes have come from off the bench. He has also picked up the odd knock, while being left out of Nuno Espirito Santos’ matchday plans for the Reds’ latest fixture against Chelsea.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Sky Deutschland reports that Reyna now has “no future” at Forest, meaning that he will be sent back to Germany over the summer. Dortmund did move to extend his contract before sanctioning a switch to England, meaning that they are under no immediate pressure to find a buyer.

    WHAT NEXT FOR REYNA?

With that in mind, it is suggested that another loan move could be on the cards for Reyna. He needs to rebuild confidence through playing regularly and if those opportunities are to be in short supply with BVB, then the best option for all concerned would be to spend the 2024-25 campaign elsewhere.
