The NFL legend is one of the famous faces that will be on show at TST in 2024. As an investor in Burnley, alongside his partner, Watt has agreed to take part in the seven-a-side competition which will be staged in North Carolina from June 5.

Watt, who is fully invested in his new role with the Clarets, is no stranger to competitive action but is more accustomed to ball games that require brute strength and safe hands than those which lean on quick thinking and tricky feet.

He has, however, been readying himself for TST action by calling upon the expertise of wife Kealia, who was surprisingly unable to beat her husband from the penalty spot. Watt has also shown that his 6ft 5in frame could be put to good use in aerial battles – with an Ibrahimovic-esque header being powered home in training.

Watt is in one of the 48 squads on show at the latest TST event. Among the others will be the Wrexham Red Dragons – who, like Burnley, also have a women’s side in action – Aguero Team, Nani FC, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Hashtag United.
