U.S. internationals Christian Pulisic, Yunus Musah, and AC Milan fell to Bologna 2-1 in Serie A action on Thursday.
Pulisic began on the bench but was introduced as a substitute in the 61st minute, while Musah played 90 minutes in the contest being named to the XI.
Milan winger Rafael Leao opened the scoring late in the first half, scoring a lovely effort after a resilient first 30-plus minutes from Milan's attack. However, just minutes out of the halftime break, Bologna leveled after a mess in the box saw the ball pop around, only for Santiago Castro to poke it home.
After a contentious second half, Bologna found a winner late, with striker Dan Ndoye scoring the go-ahead goal in the 82nd minute, poking him a low-driven cross in front of the net to steal all three points.
