Sporting have made their position clear and will not sell Inacio for anything less than €45 million (£38m/$49m). Given United’s recent shift toward prioritising younger players with long-term potential, Inacio’s price tag fits well within their new recruitment strategy of signing promising talents. His ability to play out from the back, composure on the ball, and experience at both club and international levels make him an ideal addition to the squad.

While transfer talks continue behind the scenes, United’s immediate focus is on their upcoming fixtures. The Red Devils will return to Premier League action against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening before hosting Manchester City in a high-stakes derby on April 6.
