WHAT HAPPENED?
Hojlund moves to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in a deal which also includes a conditional obligation to buy next summer for €44 million (£38m/$51m), according to The Athletic. The report claims the clause will be activated if Napoli qualify for the Champions League next season.

Hojlund's switch to Napoli will see him reunite with former United team-mate Scott McTominay, who has been a revelation since moving to Italy in the summer of 2024. The Scotland midfielder scored 12 goals in 34 Serie A appearances in 2024-25 as Antonio Conte's men pipped Inter to the league title.
