    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kevin De Bruyne ranks second among the league’s highest-paid players. The 33-year-old Belgian midfielder currently earns £432,000 per week, which translates to a monthly salary of £1.7m ($2.2m). However, the contract is set to expire in June, and with speculation surrounding his potential departure, his earnings could see a change in the coming months.

Sharing the third spot on the salary rankings are Manchester United’s Casemiro and Liverpool’s Salah, both earning £376,250 per week, which equates to £1.5m ($1.94m) monthly. Casemiro, who arrived at Old Trafford in a £70m ($91m) transfer from Real Madrid in 2022, became United’s highest-paid player upon his arrival. Despite criticism over his recent performances, the Brazilian midfielder has expressed his commitment to seeing out his contract. Meanwhile, Salah’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain. The Egyptian winger’s contract is set to expire in June, and negotiations over an extension are ongoing.

Marcus Rashford and Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling complete the top five, each earning £349,000 per week or £1.4m ($1.8m) per month. Reports suggest that United continue to cover 75 per cent of Rashford’s wages, with Aston Villa contributing the remaining portion. Similarly, Chelsea maintain the majority of Sterling’s salary, while Arsenal take on a smaller percentage of his earnings.

    PREMIER LEAGUE'S HIGHEST PAID MANAGERS

Alongside Haaland’s dominance among players, his City manager, Pep Guardiola, is the highest-earning coach in the Premier League. The Spaniard reportedly earns £416,000 per week, amounting to £1.7m ($1.9m) per month. Trailing behind Guardiola is his former assistant and current Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta. The Gunners’ head coach receives a weekly salary of £309,000, which translates to £1.2m ($1.6m) per month. Perhaps the most surprising name on the managerial earnings list is David Moyes, who returned to Everton earlier this year after the departure of Sean Dyche. He reportedly earns £257,000 per week, amounting to £1m ($1.3m) monthly.
