Manchester City's nightmare journey in the 2024-25 campaign continued as they crashed out of the Champions League after losing 6-3 on aggregate to Real Madrid. City went into the second leg in Madrid after losing 3-2 at home last weekend. Mbappe struck early to make the situation worse for the English champions and then scored two more goals to dump them out of Europe. Nico Gonzalez pulled one back for the visitors in the 92nd minute.
