- Brazilian 'keeper injured against Forest
- Hurt his shoulder in clash with Boly
- Concern he could miss title run-in
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Brazilian took a blow to the shoulder from Forest's Willy-Arnaud Boly early in the match at the City Ground and continued to play until half-time, when he was replaced by Stefan Ortega. Ederson was seen leaving the City Ground with his arm in a sling and City boss Pep Guardiola gave a pessimistic assessment of the injury after the game.

City were far from convincing against struggling Forest, less than three days after hammering Brighton 4-0. They were fortunate not to concede after gifting chances to Chris Wood and Murillo, who hit the crossbar, but won thanks to goals in either half from Josko Gvardiol and Erling Haaland.
WHAT GUARDIOLA SAID
"It doesn't look good. We see tomorrow with the doctor," Guardiola said when asked about Ederson's injury.
DID YOU KNOW?
The win meant City stayed one point behind Arsenal, who beat arch rivals Tottenham 3-2 earlier on. However, Guardiola's side have a game in hand. The City boss added: "I'd prefer if they had lost. They make a good result. Four games left. I think they aren't going to lose any points and we know what to do."

Ortega has been a reliable back-up for Ederson this season and had to guard City's goal in his absence for around one month when the Brazilian got injured against Liverpool in March. The German international is set to start City's next game at home to Wolves on Saturday.
