New Man Utd signing Noussair Mazraoui reveals he's 'good under pressure' as ex-Bayern Munich defender reveals what he'll bring to Erik ten Hag's side

The full-back made the move to Old Trafford earlier this week as the Red Devils completed a £60 million ($77m) double deal for him and Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich, reuniting the pair with their former Ajax coach Erik ten Hag.

Mazraoui has not had much time to settle in to life at the English side ahead of their opening game of the Premier League season against Fulham on Friday. However, the Morocco international is confident he will blend in well with his new surroundings as he explained his ability to thrive under pressure.

He told the club's website: "I think now during my career I’m used to nothing else. To perform, to have pressure that you always have to become champion, I think I’m really used to that because of the clubs I’ve played for now.If the club demands that, if the fans demand that of the club, they demand it of you, of course. You have to perform, it’s no question."

He added: "I think I’m a player who adapts fast. I’m quite good under pressure. When they press high, I can find a way to come out of the press. Attacking-wise, I like to really support the winger. That’s the guy who has to score and give the assists, so I try to support him the best I can in both ways, in defending ways and also on the ball."

Ten Hag confirmed at a press conference this week that Mazraoui and De Ligt will be in the United squad as they open up the new season against Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday.
