WHAT HAPPENED?
Lewis-Skelly has agreed a new long-term contract at the Emirates and an official announcement is expected soon, according to Arsenal reporter Charles Watts. The Gunners have made the move to secure Lewis-Skelly's future after a brilliant breakthrough campaign last season that drew interest from Real Madrid. According to The Athletic, the new deal will include a hefty salary increase that will make him one of best-paid youngsters in the world.
