    Walker has missed the club's last five games across all competitions after he suffered a hamstring injury during the international break while Ake picked up a calf injury during the club's draw against Arsenal. Both the defenders were included in the matchday squad against Luton Town during the weekend and now Guardiola has offered a fresh update on their present condition.

  • WHAT PEP GUARDIOLA SAID

    Speaking to reporters ahead of the crucial clash against Los Blancos, the Cityzens boss said, "I am going to wait and see the training and in the last one or two training sessions see how he looks. But he looks good, his face, his mood. I don’t know from the bench, from the beginning [of the match] if he will be with us tomorrow. But that’s incredibly good news. We have the final training at 4 and then we will decide."

    The reigning European champions will also welcome ace midfielder Rodri back into their lineup after he was rested for the Premier League clash. The Spaniard had requested Guardiola to give him some rest after the Champions League quarter-final first leg as he felt exhausted.
