Bellingham left the Madrid camp in order to have a painkilling injection to treat a pain in his knee on the day of the semi-final second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, Cope reports. The midfielder has been cleared to play and has been named in the starting XI for the clash on Wednesday.

The England international has been a pivotal part of the Spanish giants' journey to the final four, scoring four goals and registering four assists in his nine appearances in the competition to go along with his 18 strikes to help the capital club win La Liga this season.

Madrid head into the home game against Bayern needing a win to ensure they progress to the final of Europe's premier club competition. The two teams played out a 2-2 draw in the first leg in Munich last week.

Bellingham will hope the discomfort in his knee does not come back during Wednesday's headline showdown as Carlo Ancelotti's side meet Thomas Tuchel's men to fight for a place in the final alongside Borussia Dortmund.
