Getty Images/GOALJose Mourinho aims savage dig at Sir Jim Ratcliffe as ex-Man Utd boss insists 'a lot needs to change' at Old Trafford if 'incredible' Ruben Amorim is to succeed
Jose Mourinho has fired a dig at Manchester United part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, while coming to the defence of head coach Ruben Amorim.
- Mourinho takes aim at Ratcliffe
- "A lot needs to change" at Man Utd
- Comes to aid of "incredible" Amorim
WHAT HAPPENED?
Former United manager Mourinho, who now coaches Fenerbahce in Turkey, has criticised Ratcliffe's lack of football know-how as the club's minority owner, claiming that "a lot needs to change" for the Red Devils to be successful again, and that Amorim has the potential to do "incredible" work at Old Trafford.

He told Canal 11: "Today, I think that with the change in ownership at the club, with an owner who doesn't have much experience in football but rather in sport... What happened to Ruben, from being the manager of the worst Manchester United in Premier League history to having continuity and confidence to continue and be Ruben Amorim, is a sign that a lot needs to change. With that stability... We all agree that he's a manager with great potential and personality. I think he has incredible potential to do great work."
