  • Harding went hard at Jorginho's critics
  • Praised the midfielder for being "beautiful inside and out"
  • Shared a second video where she was at her sarcastic best
  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Addressing the trolls who have taken aim at the couple for their appearance on the Amazon Prime series 'Married to the Game', Harding expressed admiration for her fiancee and hailed him for being "beautiful inside and out". She dismissed criticism with humour, suggesting that her relationship with Jorginho is akin to winning the lottery and inviting others to "keep playing" in the hope of similar fortune.

  • WHAT HARDING SAID

Catherine posted: "I have been seeing so many comments on this video and was trying to ignore it but I have something to say to all the haters and desperados commenting negative things on here on my video.

"Have you seen my fiancee? He's so beautiful inside and out. He is so f*cking handsome my green-eyed boy. HOTT [sic] is an understatement. Funny... I just need to be with him and we could laugh all day together doing nothing. He's got a crazy good energy and guess what... He's RICH too. I guess I won the lottery."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Harding went on to upload a second video, featuring her and Jorginho in a car, where she staged a fake break-up conversation. In the video, Harding jokingly tells Jorginho that they can't be together anymore, teasing him about his looks and wealth before the pair finally fall out in rolls of laughter.

    WHAT NEXT?

While the prank video may have been intended as light-hearted entertainment, it highlights the challenges faced by public figures, including athletes and their partners, in dealing with online criticism and scrutiny. Jorginho, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea last year, will be back in action against Manchester United on Sunday in a Premier League fixture.
