According to The Echo, Liverpool’s multi-year agreement with adidas is worth double the £30 million ($39m) a year that Nike are paying. Over the course of a five-year deal, the Reds could be pulling in £300m ($388m).

That cash injection has arrived at the best possible time for Liverpool, as they are seeing a number of notable contracts at Anfield run down. Egyptian talisman Salah, Dutch defender Van Dijk and home-grown full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold are all heading towards free agency in the summer of 2025.
