  • WHAT HAPPENED?

According to a report from Tuttosport, Bayern Munich are determined to sign Juventus starlet Yildiz - who spent 10 years in their youth academy before leaving for Serie A in 2022 - as well as highly-rated Bournemouth centre-back Huijsen, this summer.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Bavarians are keen on reuniting with Yildiz three years after the young Turkish international parted ways with the club to join Juventus. As per the report, Yildiz would ideally like to prolong his career in Turin, with the Old Lady also against the idea of selling one of their most talented players. Things could change if the Bianconeri fail to qualify for next season's Champions League, as they may be forced to offset the financial loss from missing out on a spot in Europe's premier club competition by selling some key players.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Another player that Bayern could sign this summer is Bournemouth sensation Huijsen, who has attracted interest from Real Madrid as well as some of the biggest Premier League clubs. However, Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany admires the former Juventus youngster and wants to work with him next season. The Spanish defender has a £50m (€60m/$66m) release clause in his contract.
