'Disgraceful!' - Chelsea labelled a 'dirty club' as Joao Felix seals AC Milan loan transfer with fans left raging over 'horrible' decision

Chelsea have confirmed that Felix will spend the rest of the season at AC Milan. According to The Athletic, the Italian giants have agreed to cover his full wages and will pay Chelsea a £5 million loan fee (€5.5 million), but there will be no obligation to buy the 25-year-old forward once the loan period ends.

Chelsea fans took to social media to express their discontent over Felix's exit, with one user, @thealexsage, commenting: "Absolutely f*cking disgraceful."

Meanwhile, @FutStories, called it a "horrible decision, btw," and @JeffFcb14 wrote: "Treated my boy so wrongly."

Manchester United fan @SahotaUTD also weighed in, saying: "Another flop for Chelshit, ruining attackers since forever. Dirty club."

Meanwhile, @Trop_cfc's comment oozed sarcasm as he wrote: "Top recruiting and spending sporting directors. Knocked this one out the park."

Felix's contract with Milan will run until June 30, 2025. This means that the Portuguese forward will still be available for selection to Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca for the 2025 Club World Cup, which is set to commence on June 14.

Felix has struggled for regular Premier League starts under Maresca and has been named in the Chelsea starting XI only three times since his summer move from Atletico Madrid, while most of his appearances have come in cup competitions. He has scored seven goals in all competitions during the 2024-25 campaign, including two goals against Panathinaikos and Noah, respectively, in the UEFA Conference League and another brace against League Two side Morecambe in the FA Cup.

Felix will now look to revive his form in Serie A, with AC Milan currently sitting eighth in the league standings. His first opportunity to impress in Italy could come as early as Wednesday when the Rossoneri face Roma in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals and he could subsequently make his league debut on Saturday in an away fixture against Empoli.
