Arsenal’s kit will be “drained of red” when facing Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round as they continue to campaign against knife crime and youth violence. Kit manufacturers adidas are investing in more safe places for children to play in Islington. A third refurbished community football pitch is set to be opened.

It is the first time that Arsenal will take to home field wearing an all-white kit, with another page being turned in a storied tale that includes 138 years of rich history. The club’s women’s team will also be wearing the ‘No More Red’ kit when they face Watford in the FA Cup on January 14.

The all-white shirts are not made available to purchase, but a a “bespoke community T-shirt” will go on sale in a bid to raise funds for charity partners. Arsenal suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest when first wearing the bespoke kit, while last season saw them record a resounding 3-0 victory away at Oxford United.
