The 50-year-old concierge told the newspaper: âHe smelt like alcohol and was very agitated. I wanted to help him. I wanted to get him in. But as soon as he saw me he demanded, âMy key?â I asked him, âPlease, Sir, can you write down your name, email, address and phone number, so I can try to help.â I explained I was a temp worker and I would do my best to help. But my colleague, who was the supervisor, was on security patrol.
"It was late. I could not get on the computer system. The password I was given didnât work. Then he started losing his temper, telling me to give him the âf***ing keyâ. Then he called me a âc***â. I told him, âWait a few minutes and my colleague will be back. He has access to the keys.â Then he was swearing more at me and said, âGive me the key, you f***ing n*****.â I draw the line at that. I was appalled and disgusted. I said to him, âI will not tolerate that. Do not use that word towards me.â He was shouting at me, âDo you know who I f***ing am? You will never work here again.â He said the N-word again."
