David Beckham and Gary Neville's Salford to sell wonderkid to Man City or Liverpool?! Premier League giants ready to do battle for 17-year-old striker but will Man Utd legends do business with old rivals?

The Daily Mail states Liverpool have already made an offer for the 17-year-old and City are poised to bid more than £100,000, plus add-ons, for his services. The report adds that Arsenal, Brentford, Leicester City, and Burnley are keeping tabs on the young striker as well.

Wright, who scored more than 50 goals at all levels for Salford last season, is reportedly keen on a move to Liverpool - which will leave co-owners and Manchester United legends Gary Neville and David Beckham with a big decision to make this summer.

Wright was spotted playing for local teams Euxton Villa and Fylde just two years ago but made his Salford debut against City in the FA Cup in January. The youngster is currently in the second year of his scholarship at the League Two team.

It remains to be seen if Salford will accept an offer from either City or Liverpool for 6ft 3in Wright, who made a cameo appearance in his team's 8-0 loss to Pep Guardiola's side at the start of 2025, ahead of next season.
