Cristiano Ronaldo enjoys beachside lunch date with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez after helping Portugal reach Nations League semi-finals

After a disappointing loss against Denmark in the first leg of their quarter-final tie, the Seleccao made a strong comeback on Sunday as they registered a thumping 5-2 win after extra time to progress to the last-four stage of the Nations League. Francisco Trincao scored a brace, while Ronaldo and Goncalo Ramos were also on target for Roberto Martinez's side.

A day after the win over Denmark, Ronaldo went on a picturesque lunch date by the beach with partner Georgina Rodriguez, who later uploaded a photograph of the Portugal icon on her Instagram story and wrote: "My views."

At 40 years of age, five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo continues to dazzle on the pitch for club and country. Goals have continued to flow for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, with Ronaldo planning to reach 1,000 in total before he hangs up his record-setting boots.

The Al-Nassr star will be back in action for his club on April 4 as the Saudi giants take on reigning champions Al-Hilal.
