Carlo Ancelotti makes promise to Endrick after leaving Brazilian wonderkid out again for Real Madrid's win over Sevilla

The young Brazilian has featured in 15 matches for Real Madrid thus far where he has scored two goals and clocked only 160 minutes on the pitch. With stars like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo already in the squad, the Brazilian faces a tough battle for minutes in the 2024-25 campaign.

On Sunday, despite being named in the matchday squad, the teenager did not play a part as Los Blancos clinched a comfortable 4-2 win in their final match of 2024 against Sevilla. Manager Ancelotti, however, promised the youngster that he would get more opportunities in the new year.

In his interaction with the media after the match, the Italian coach was asked about Fran Garcia and Endrick's situation to which he replied: "I haven't had time to explain it, I think they've understood. I didn't want to open a game that was over. They'll have their chance in 2025."

The Spanish giants will be back in action after a short winter break on January 3 as they take on Valencia away from home in La Liga.
