'They can't do that' - Arsenal star Bukayo Saka reveals how he deals with Premier League defenders fouling him

    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Saka has often been on the receiving end of fouls for as long as he has been in the Premier League, thanks to his pace and quickness with the ball especially as he drives into the opposition's box. The Arsenal star has now revealed how he deals with the sheer volume of tackles he invites in every match.

  • WHAT SAKA SAID

    Speaking to The Guardian, Saka said: "There are two elements. The first is that the defenders can’t do that all game. They’ll get yellow cards and then they have to stop.

    "The second element is that as an attacking player, you are in the team to score goals, create goals. Part of that is going to involve having to beat defenders and, yeah, they’re going to try their best to stop you.

    "But just because you get a kick, you can’t hide away and not do that. Because that’s what you are in the team to do."

Regardless, the 22-year-old has been a major part of Arsenal's free-flowing attack as the Gunners compete for their first Premier League title in a tight battle with Manchester City and Liverpool.
