Jobe had scored on his first start for Dortmund after signing from Sunderland earlier this month, finding the net in the 45th minute to put his side 3-1 up before half-time. It was a moment that sparked a bit of friendly sibling rivalry, and Jude has now responded.

Asked whether Jobe’s goal was on his mind during his own performance, Jude said to DAZN: "My brother’s goal yesterday on my mind? A little bit, I’ve gotta be honest. Everyone’s been caning me, saying he’s better than me. I had to do something today. We’re 1-1 now, we’ll see for the rest of the tournament (laughs).”

The Bellingham brothers have made history by becoming the first siblings to score in the same edition of the Club World Cup.
