    WHAT HAPPENED

    Nikita Zadorov, the towering 6-6 defenseman for the Boston Bruins, surprised fans by wearing a New England Revolution training kit and showcasing his unexpected soccer skills during a pre-match warmup session.

    Zadorov, known for his physical play on the ice, demonstrated surprising technical ability with the ball, drawing cheers and laughter from those watching on. His football "tekkers" were posted by the New England Revolution's social media team with many in awe of the defenseman's abilities.

    Zadorov has played 12 NHL seasons across six teams since being drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the first round, 16th overall, in the 2013 NHL entry draft.

    He currently plays for Boston after signing in July 2024 and he's having a solid 2024-25 season with four goals, 13 assists, and a +16 rating in 67 games.

    WHAT’S NEXT?

    Following their 2-1 loss to New York City FC, New England Revolution have dropped further down the Eastern Conference table to 14th. They are yet to win a game and have only one point to their name, sitting four points off a place in the Final series play-off after their fourth game of the league season.

    The Revolutions host the New York Red Bulls next at the Gillette Stadium before going on the road to face FC Cincinnati on March 30 and April 6, respectively.
