Bayern Munich hat-trick hero Harry Kane enjoys giant beer & pretzel at Oktoberfest as Tottenham take in first North London derby without him

The England captain severed ties with Spurs during the summer transfer window when completing a £100 million ($122m) move to Bayern Munich. He has made an immediate impact in Germany, scoring eight goals through seven appearances – including a hat-trick last time out against Bochum.

Kane said on the back of those exploits: “It was a perfect afternoon, it’s just fun with this team, the boys’ mentality is great. He may have missed out on long-awaited major silverware in the German Super Cup, but Bayern have already made their way to the top of the Bundesliga table after taking 13 points from five games.

Spurs are having to contend without their all-time leading goal scorer as Bayern thrive with a new No.9 on their books, with Kane the record scorer in North London Derby contests – finding the target on 14 occasions in those fixtures. Ange Postecoglou would love to have such a reliable source of end product in his plans at present.
