Barcelona to lose wonderkid? Bayern Munich, Man City and Borussia Dortmund eye summer move for La Masia standout Guille Fernandez

According to a report from The Daily Briefing, Dortmund have joined the likes of Bayern, City and Porto in the race to snap up the 16-year-old La Masia sensation this summer. However, their potential move for the player could be influenced by whether Dortmund qualify for European competition next season.

Another report from SPORT claims that Fernandez’s ambition is to follow in the footsteps of Fermin Lopez, with the Barca prospect hoping to secure a place in the first team. However, should Barca Atletic drop to Spain’s fourth tier, or if he fails to break into the senior squad, Fernandez would be open to a loan move or exploring options with other clubs.

Last year, Barcelona secured a contract extension for Fernandez, tying him to the club until 2027 in what was his first professional deal.

Barcelona will now face Inter in the semi-finals of the Champions League after beating Dortmund 5-3 on aggregate, they will take on Celta on Saturday.
