Arsenal ready to compete with Liverpool and Manchester United for Hugo Ekitike

The Gunners have become fed up with awkward negotiations for Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, report Bild, who say they are "back in the poker game" for Ekitike. Eintracht look set to demand €100m for the Frenchman.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all said to be rivals for Ekitike's signature, though the huge transfer fee could put off some suitors. All four clubs are aiming to improve their centre-forward options this summer, though Arsenal's is the most obviously pressing need.

Ekitike has scored 26 goals in 64 appearances for Eintracht, including 22 in 48 last season. He is uncapped by the national team but still one of the most in-demand players on the market.

Arsenal's chase for a striker has seen them struggle to get a deal for Sesko over the line, while Viktor Gyokeres looks likelier to end up at Manchester United. They will want somebody through the door in time for the beginning of the Premier League season in August.
