Another year at Goodison Park! Everton to stay put at beloved stadium as move to new Bramley-Moore Dock home is delayed

The Toffees new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is expected to be completed by the end of next year, but Everton will complete a final send-off season at their beloved Goodison Park before moving fully into their new home. The club have decided against moving to the new ground in the middle of the season and will wait until the start of the 2025-26 season to play their home games at the new 52,888 capacity ground.

Everton have played their home games at Goodison Park since 1892 but will be moving to their new state-of-the-art home in 2025. The Toffees, fighting relegation this season, will be aiming to maintain their Premier League status by the time they make their move and use the new stadium as a springboard to a brighter future.

Goodison Park was the first major football stadium to be built in England and second only to Rangers' Ibrox in the whole of Britain. The stadium has a capacity of 39,572.

Sean Dyche-led Everton are on an incredible run of form, having won four of their last five Premier League games. Slapped with a 10-point deduction for breaching Financial Fair Play rules, the Toffees have responded by escaping the drop zone and can move further clear with victory against Dyche's old side, Burnley, on Saturday.
