'Once a Gunner always a Gunner' - Spurs criticized on social media after Harry Kane presented with Bundesliga top-scorer award at Bayern Munich

<p>Kane has adapted to life in the Bundesliga with ease since joining Bayern Munich from Spurs for a reported fee of €100 million (£86m/$110m). The England captain scored 36 league goals in his debut campaign with the Bavarians to win the Golden Boot. WHAT THE FANS ARE SAYING

<p>Despite failing to win the Bundesliga last season, Kane can remain confident about his ability to perform in Germany as well as he did in 2023-24. The England captain has started off his season well as he bagged an assist in Bayern's league opener against Wolfsburg and opened the scoring against Freiburg at Allianz Arena. Kane has now scored against all 17 Bundesliga sides that he has faced - as per Opta.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>The English striker will now return to play with the Three Lions for the first time since their Euro 2024 final loss to Spain in Berlin. The 31-year-old will captain his side for Lee Carsley's first game in interim charge when they take on Ireland in the Nations League.</p>
