    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Lehmann, who represents Aston Villa’s women’s team, has been a regular at men’s fixtures in 2024 as she offers her full support to Brazilian partner Luiz. The 25-year-old forward has attended Europa Conference League and Premier League matches.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

    She was back in the stands for Villa’s dramatic clash with Chelsea. Luiz started that game, before being withdrawn with a yellow card to his name, and Villa hung on to take a point in a 2-2 draw that saw them throw away a two-goal lead and survive late VAR controversy.

    Chelsea thought that they had snatched a winner through Axel Disasi, only to see that effort ruled out on review for a supposed push by Benoit Badiashile. Lehmann was among those watching on, with Swiss colleague Amira Arfaoui by her side.
