Southampton team news
Southampton has been actively reviving their squad, despite some recent player movements. Tyler Dibling has been withdrawn from training as he nears a move to Everton, and players like Kyle Walker-Peters, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Jan Bednarek and Aaron Ramsdale have already left the club.
Meanwhile, new signings Joshua Quarshie and Damion Downs are both expected to feature. Jay Robinson, who made his Premier League debut last year, has impressed in pre-season, but will need to compete for a spot against Cameron Archer, Adam Armstrong and Ben Brereton Diaz.
Wrexham team news
The Red Dragons dived into the transfer window with intent, roping in Ryan Hardie from Plymouth Argyle, apart from signing the likes of Conor Coady, Lewis O'Brien and Alex Moore.
Kiwi defender Liberato Cacace is also in line to make his competitive debut for the club, but the team does have some injury concerns.
New signing George Thomason is dealing with a thigh problem, and both Ollie Rathbone and former Saint Jay Rodriguez are currently doubts.
