Orlando Pirates news

The 38-year-old recently parted ways with the Moroccan club after a difficult season that saw mixed results and mounting pressure.

The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Sekhukhune United before being released by the Brazilians.

The 25-year-old was a surprise departure from the Buccaneers after spending 13 years with the club.

The defender's age and limited playtime during his time with Bucs have been cited as reasons why he will not add value to Amakhosi.

Thabang Kgeledi argues that the troubled midfielder's skillset is better suited to Amakhosi's Soweto rival's needs.

The 27-year-old is set for a new adventure after the Premier Soccer League champions opted against extending his stay.

The legend says he would rather have preferred the Egyptian powerhouse to go for a local coach than the Spaniard.

A key factor that hindered the Amakhosi youngsters from fully expressing themselves as the Downs and Bucs ones have has been explained.

After the shock departure of Jose Riveiro, Orlando Pirates have been forced back into the market for a permanent head coach.

Amakhosi's current strikers particularly struggled last season, highlighting a serious need for a proven goal scorer.

This means the African champions will be without one of their key attacking assets during the continental finals in Morocco.

The 54-year-old rejoined Golden Arrows on a short-term deal in March and his future at the club has been a subject of speculation.

The Buccaneers star has been struggling for consistency especially in the second half of last season and he has extended that to the national team.
