    WHAT HAPPENED?

Chippa United forward Sinoxolo Kwayiba has revealed his desire to play for one of the Premier Soccer League's big three clubs.

Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, and Mamelodi Sundowns are the three biggest clubs in the PSL, and one of them, the Bafana star, hopes to don their jerseys in the future.

    WHAT KWAYIBA SAID

“I’m hoping to play for a big team, and then after going to play overseas—that’s my dream, and it’s going to happen," Kwayiba told SABC Sports after he helped South Africa beat Mozambique in a Tuesday friendly match.

“A team of the big three—I won’t mention any names. I won’t mention anyone, but I want to play for one of the three," he added.

    WHAT IS MORE

Kwayiba also recalled what his time at the Bafana camp was like and expressed his desire to be part of it going forward.

"First of all, I want to say thanks to the man above. I am feeling very happy because I have been praying for this thing," Kwayiba said in reference to his first goal for the national side.

"I have been scoring in the PSL playing for my team, but I have been praying to get a goal here at Bafana Bafana, and then it has come. I am very happy.

"I am happy to be part of these guys; I am learning each and every day. It was not easy, and it is not my first day to be in Bafana, but it is my first time to start a game," he added.

"It was great to be part of these guys in the camp. I hope I am going to get another chance next time. I’m happy with the performance, but I want to do more. Let’s hope it’s going to happen.”

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kwayiba's goal against Mozambique came at a time when Hugo Broos revealed he is impressed by the players on duty, especially the young ones.

At 25, the Chippa United forward is at a prime age of his career, and he should now be part of the Bafana setup on a more regular basis.

The friendly matches against Tanzania and OS Mambas offered Broos the opportunity to assess the readiness of other players who normally are not part of the national side.

Apart from Kwayiba, Mbekezeli Mbokazi and his club teammate Mohau Nkota also made impressive performances that would make it difficult for them to be overlooked.
