Leeds United team news

Midfielders Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka are both sidelined with knee injuries, while summer signing Noah Okafor will need a once-over ahead of kickoff.

Sean Longstaff stands to benefit from the absence of Ampadu and Tanaka, as the former could make his first league start with the club, with Anton Stach and Ilia Gruev set to complete the midfield setup.

In attack, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is deemed to be fit to make his full debut, but manager Daniel Farke may consider either Joel Piroe or Lukas Nmecha instead.

Newcastle United team news

Alexander Isak is still unavailable for selection, and Anthony Gordon will be serving a three-match suspension due to his straight red card against Liverpool.

Fabian Schar, Joelinton and Sandro Tonali are also nursing their respective injury issues.

As a result, summer signings Malick Thiaw and Jacob Ramsey might make their full debuts on Saturday, while Will Osula will be in line for a start up front.
