Having lost last season's top scorer, Andrea Pinamonti, this summer, Lorenzo Colombo will continue to lead the line. Arthur Gronbaek, Valentin Carboni and Nicolae Stanciu will all support Colombo.

Caleb Ekuban and Sebastian Otoa are still ruled out by injury, but Leo Ostigard is anticipated to be passed fit for a start.

Andrea Cambiaso will be unavailable for the first game of his two-match ban. Juan Cabal and Fabio Miretti are both injured. Miretti had a notable loan spell at Marassi last season.
