For the Cougars, Jaxon Potter struggled against North Texas, throwing for 139 yards on 16-of-23 passing but giving away three interceptions and no scores. Kirby Vorhees picked up 33 yards on six rushes (5.5 per attempt) and added two short receptions for negative yardage. Meanwhile, Carter Pabst provided a bright spot in the passing attack, collecting 65 yards on three catches from four targets.
