How to watch today's LA Galaxy vs Minnesota United MLS game: Live stream, TV channel, and start time

Minnesota United still have a shot at finishing as high as second in the Western Conference, but that depends on them defeating LA Galaxy and getting a bit of help from elsewhere.

As things stand, Minnesota sit fourth in the West with 58 points heading into the final round of the regular season. While catching league leaders Vancouver Whitecaps is off the table, they remain within striking distance of second place, just two points adrift of San Diego FC. Depending on how the final weekend unfolds, the Loons could finish anywhere between second and fourth, capping off what has been a consistently strong campaign near the top of the standings.

LA Galaxy, on the other hand, find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table, level on points with Sporting Kansas City, marking a forgettable season following their 2024 MLS Cup triumph. Still, Greg Vanney's men managed to show some fight last weekend, edging FC Dallas 2-1. The victory was powered by Gabriel Pec, whose match-winning performance once again underlined his importance to the squad as the Galaxy look to close out their disappointing season on a positive note.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

LA Galaxy team news

The Galaxy are dealing with several fitness concerns ahead of their season finale. Julian Aude, Christian Ramirez, and Lucas Sanabria are all nursing muscle or foot injuries, with all three expected to return by late October. Marco Reus also remains sidelined with a thigh problem, while Riqui Puig continues his lengthy recovery from a cruciate ligament injury. Additionally, Isaiah Parente is unavailable due to disciplinary reasons.

In Saturday's victory, Gabriel Pec turned in another standout performance, recording both a goal and an assist—while also picking up a yellow card—the same stat line he produced in a July clash with Los Angeles FC. Remarkably, Pec became the first Galaxy player since Landon Donovan in 2014 to register multiple games in a single regular season featuring a goal, an assist, and a booking.

Minnesota United team news

For Minnesota United, Carlos Harvey (knee) remains sidelined, but head coach Eric Ramsay revealed that the versatile defender-midfielder has resumed light workouts on the treadmill and could rejoin full training soon. There's a chance he might be available for the opening round of the playoffs next weekend.

Leading the charge for the Loons, Tani Oluwaseyi has enjoyed a breakout year, netting 10 goals and providing eight assists. His efforts make him the first Canadian to hit double digits in goals during an MLS regular season since Tesho Akindele in 2019, and the first to combine that tally with at least eight assists since Dwayne De Rosario achieved the feat back in 2011.
