The Royals continue to be one of the biggest surprises in baseball this season, and come into this contest off the back winning their three-game series with the Texas Rangers last time out.

After a 7-1 victory over the reigning World Series champions, the Royals suffered a heavy 15-4 loss on Saturday, putting an end to their three-game winning streak. However, they bounced back and squeezed out a 3-2 Game three victory to come out on top.

The Brewers, meanwhile, came on the wrong end of a 1-2 series loss to Chicago Cubs. After a 3-1 victory in the opener, the Brewers lost 6-5 to the Cubs in the middle contest before suffering a disappointing 5-0 defeat in the series decider.
