Inter Miami CF team news

Inter Miami remain formidable, boasting the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, andSergio Busquets, all expected to feature in the starting lineup. The Herons come in with high spirits after Messi delivered two assists in their previous outing and new midfielder Rodrigo De Paul impressed on debut, playing a full 90 minutes alongside Busquets. Jordi Alba has returned to action and further solidifies the back line.

However, the squad will be without several players due to injury: goalkeeper Oscar Ustari and defender Ian Fray are both sidelined. Starting goalkeeper Drake Callender is also still nursing a hernia problem, leaving Rocco Ríos Novo to continue in goal. Young defender Noah Allen and midfielder Y. Bright remain unavailable. Despite these injuries, Miami’s core remains intact, and their attacking threat will focus on Messi and Suárez.

Necaxa team news

Necaxa arrive in Fort Lauderdale with renewed confidence after defeating Atlanta United in their Leagues Cup opener under new manager Fernando Gago. Key absentees for the Mexican side include left-back Emilio Lara and, potentially, Agustin Oliveros, who is still recovering from a shin injury and may not feature due to concerns over his fitness. Otherwise, Necaxa have most of their core squad available, with Tomás Badaloni, who netted twice off the bench against Atlanta, poised for a potential start in attack.
