Fabinho believes he is ready to make his mark at Anfield, with a €50 million (£44m/$57m) summer signing feeling more settled and fully adjusted to the demands of Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds moved early to land the versatile Brazilian during the last transfer window, with a big-money deal struck with Ligue 1 side Monaco.
Klopp handed Fabinho outings in all of Liverpool’s pre-season friendlies, but has favoured a more cautious approach since competitive action began.
The 24-year-old is yet to see a minute of Premier League football, with his experience to date having been collected during Carabao Cup and Champions League outings.
Fabinho may, however, have seen the path cleared in front of him by an unfortunate injury to James Milner, with the South American ready to step into a midfield berth if required.
He said after linking up with the Brazil squad during the current international break: "My process to adapt to English football has been very good. Since pre-season I believe I've understood the way Jurgen Klopp plays and the way the team plays.
"My relationship with my team-mates has also been very good, especially with the Brazilians. Roberto Firmino has been helping me, as well as Alisson.
"I've been playing a little bit more and that's important, because it's important to adapt on the pitch by playing matches.
"It's a new experience for me, because Klopp has a different way of working from the way I'm used to. But this is something I will learn.
"I've already learned a few things from him, but this is just the start. He's a coach who demands a lot from his players, not only in matches, but on a daily basis in training."
Fabinho’s only Liverpool start so far came in a 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Chelsea.
He will be hoping that there are plenty more to come, with the Reds looking to build on a positive start to the 2018-19 campaign which has them set among the Premier League frontrunners.
Klopp’s side are yet to suffer a top-flight defeat this season and will return to domestic action on October 20 with a trip to Huddersfield.
