Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto has revealed who he thinks will end up on the Iron Throne at the end of Game of Thrones.

The seventh season of the critically acclaimed television show begins in July, with the series set to conclude in 2018 or 2019 with the eighth and final season. Fans of the TV programme and George RR Martin's novels have speculated who they think will be ruler of Westeros when the show ends, and now the Barca star has gotten in on the act.

'Priceless' Mbappe drops Twitter hint

Roberto is currently on his off-season break from Barcelona, having helped Luis Enrique's side lift the Copa del Rey in 2016-17, and used some of his free time to ask questions from fans.

One supporter posed the question "Jon Snow or Daenerys on the Iron Throne?" to which the 25-year-old replied, "I hope Jon Snow, but I think it will be Daenerys."

With just two seasons left of the hit show, fans will not have to wait much longer to find out whether Sergi Roberto has some inside knowledge or whether his answer of Daenerys was nothing more than transfer speculation!
