With Xavi Hernandez serving a touchline ban, his brother Oscar Hernandez took charge of first-team duties and oversaw his side win on Saturday, where Atletico Madrid loanee Joao Felix scored the winner. Oscar has now won all seven games he's been in charge when called upon as a stand-in coach.

Xavi announced he was stepping down from his role as Barca boss at the end of this season in January, but the Spanish giants are reportedly trying to keep the former midfielder in charge. Many managers have been linked with the soon-to-be vacant Blaugrana job but maybe Oscar Hernandez should be in the mix after his unbeaten run.

Since Xavi's announcement, Barcelona's fortunes have somewhat improved. They are now up to second in La Liga, after trailing behind Girona for long periods, are eight points within league leaders Real Madrid, and are in a strong position to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League after beating Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 away from home in the first leg of their last eight tie.

Outgoing manager Xavi will return to the touchline for Barca's upcoming encounters against PSG on Tuesday in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final and away to Real Madrid in a top of the table clash in La Liga next Sunday.
