Mudryk is now facing more time out of action after being provisionally suspended following a positive drugs test. The forward cannot currently play or train with the Blues and is waiting for the results of a ‘B’ sample. Mudryk has spoken out about his shock at testing positive and has reportedly employed the same law firm that represented Paul Pogba in his appeal against a doping ban. Pogba has recently seen his four-year suspension reduced to 18 months on appeal.
GOALWHAT NEXT FOR MUDRYK
Mudryk has endured a tough time at Chelsea since moving to London in 2023 and has struggled to show why the Blues splashed out so heavily to beat Arsenal to his signature. His future now appears to be hanging in the balance as he waits to find out if his positive test will lead to a lengthy ban from the game.
