Speaking to Forbes, the 34-year-old said, "Having had the defeat that we did at the World Cup kind of makes us want to feel like, we want to prove to ourselves how far we can get and that we are worthy of competing and winning every game.
"We have to bring our best every single game and have that World Cup and the bitterness behind us. We definitely want to feel what it feels like to have victory again, especially on the highest stage possible."
