Tim Weah turned in a forgettable performance for Juve Sunday, managing just 20 touches as Thiago Motta's side threw a late lead away against relegation-threatened Lecce. The USMNT forward, who didn't start a single game as a center forward last season, was deployed through the middle from the first minute, and looked as uncomfortable as expected in the spot.
Juve created little throughout the contest. Khephren Thuram came closest in the first half, hitting the post from close range. They needed a bit of luck to get in front, as Andrea Cambiaso's speculative strike deflected into the back of the net midway through the second half.
Motta's men tried to sit on the lead, but the home side had a late answer. Veteran winger Ante Rebic provided the key moment for Lecce, completing a well worked move with a side-footed finish in the 93rd minute - sending the home fans into raptures. It was effectively the last kick of the game.
