First time in five years! Spurs FINALLY win without either Harry Kane or Heung-Min Son in starting XI

Son is currently away from his Tottenham teammates on international duty with South Korea at the AFC Asian Cup, whereas, Kane is no longer at the club after setting sail for Bayern Munich in the summer. The duo are a massive part of Spurs' modern history, scoring 435 goals between them for the club.

But Spurs showed their mettle against the Bees on Wednesday as they came back from a goal down to seal an incredible 3-2 victory. Spurs scored three goals in eight minutes to stun Thomas Frank's side as Destiny Udogie, Brennan Johnson and Richarlison cut the opposition to shreds and turned despair to jubilation.

It took 1,837 days and five managers to win a match without Kane and Son in the Spurs side. The last time they won without the pair was on January 20, 2019, with Harry Winks scoring a last-minute winner against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Tottenham climbed into the top-four thanks to their victory over Brentford. They will now face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday in another league encounter.
